At 5th Quarter Sports, our Track & Field program introduces elementary students in Kindergarten through 5th grade to the excitement of running, jumping, and throwing in a fun and supportive environment. Kids get the chance to explore a variety of events—from sprints and relays to long jumps and soft javelin throws—designed to keep them active and engaged while building athletic skills.
This program focuses on personal growth and participation, ensuring that every child feels included, challenged, and encouraged to do their best. Whether a child is naturally fast, enjoys competition, or simply loves to move, track & field offers something for everyone.
Inclusive for All Kids – A variety of events means there’s something for every ability.
Foundational Skills – Running, jumping, and throwing are building blocks for all sports.
Healthy Competition – Teaches kids to set goals and strive for improvement.
Active & Engaging – Keeps children moving, energized, and having fun outdoors.
Track & Field not only builds athletic ability—it shapes character. Through the program, children gain:
Endurance, speed, and coordination
Confidence from personal progress and achievement
Resilience by learning to set goals and overcome challenges
Teamwork and encouragement through relays and group events
A love for lifelong fitness and activity
At 5th Quarter Sports, we believe every child deserves the chance to discover their potential and celebrate their progress.
Track & Field events have a way of bringing everyone together—kids cheering for each other, parents celebrating their children’s milestones, and communities gathering around the track. Families connect, friendships form, and a shared spirit of encouragement fills the field.
When kids play, entire communities grow stronger.
