5th Quarter Sports: Flag Football (Grades K–5)

Program Overview

Our Flag Football program is designed specifically for boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade, offering a safe, fun, and exciting introduction to football. Players learn fundamental skills such as passing, catching, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all while enjoying fast-paced, non-contact play. Our format ensures every child gets involved, builds confidence, and has an opportunity to shine on the field.

Games are structured to be age-appropriate, with a strong focus on participation, learning, and fun—whether your child is brand new to sports or already developing their athletic abilities.

Benefits of Sports in Elementary School

Participating in sports during the elementary years provides children with lifelong advantages, including:

  • Physical Development: Improves coordination, balance, and overall fitness in a fun way.

  • Confidence & Self-Esteem: Builds pride through individual effort and team success.

  • Teamwork & Social Skills: Encourages cooperation, communication, and respect for peers.

  • Healthy Habits: Instills the value of regular physical activity at an early age.

  • Resilience & Growth Mindset: Teaches kids how to handle wins, losses, and challenges with a positive attitude.

At 5th Quarter Sports, we believe sports are more than just games—they are lessons for life.

Building Stronger Communities Through Sports

Sports have the unique ability to bring children, families, and communities together. On game day, parents cheer from the sidelines, neighbors reconnect, and children build friendships that extend beyond the field. By gathering around positive activities, flag football strengthens school spirit, neighborhood pride, and family bonds.

When kids play, entire communities win.
